MGC Scenarios (2007)

In the Metro-Detroit area where I live, there is a television segment called "Peter's Principles". On this show, Peter gives advice on health and exercise to keep ones body and mind in a healthy condition. In thinking about the name of the show, "Peter's Principles", I am reminded of another Peter and another set of principles that were given through the anointing of God hundreds of years ago. These principles have stood the test of time. These principles however, are advice for your soul. In the Bible, in the book of 2nd Peter, chapter 2 verse 1-3, Peter warns us, 1) But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them -- bringing swift destruction on themselves. We live in such a time today, many years after Peter's warning. And the question is, "what do we do about it today?" The answer, "go on-line, take the battle to the enemy." Here are your SCENARIOS!

Today, government, science organizations, news medias, investigative groups, and even many so-called, "religious organizations", are making an all out effort to introduce heresies among the people. Peter says, 2) Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3) In their greed, these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation have long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. There is a saying to the effect of, " a little knowledge is better than no knowledge at all," however, Peter doesn't see it that way, 2nd Peter 2:20, "For if having escaped the pollutions of the world through knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again intangled therein, and overcome the latter end is worse with them than the beginning."
